Not necessarily — you have options. Our machines take coins, and our on-site change machines turn your bills into coins if you need them. Prefer not to use coins? Load a Stellar Laundry card at our Value Add Center and tap it at any machine, or pay with Visa, Mastercard, or Apple Pay.

How do I check the balance on my laundry card?
Just swipe your card at our on-site Value Add Center — it shows your balance instantly, and you can add more value there anytime with cash or a credit or debit card.
Self-Service Laundry
How does the self-service laundry work?
Come in anytime we are open, choose a washer, load your clothes, and pay at the machine. Move to a dryer when the wash is done. With plenty of washers and dryers, there is rarely a wait.
Is the laundromat clean and safe?
Yes. Stellar Laundry Antioch is a clean, modern, well-lit facility with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and 24/7 security cameras for peace of mind.
What amenities do you have?

How big are your washers?
We have high-capacity washers up to 100 lb, so you can wash more in fewer loads and get in and out faster.
Can I wash a comforter, blanket, or bulky items?
Absolutely. Our large-capacity machines easily handle comforters, blankets, sleeping bags, and other oversized bedding that will not fit in a home washer.

What is Wash & Fold drop-off?
Short on time? Drop off your laundry and we will wash, dry, and neatly fold it for you — then just pick it up fresh and ready to put away.
What is the turnaround time for drop-off laundry?
We pride ourselves on speed! Most Wash & Fold orders dropped off in the morning are ready for pickup the next day. For larger orders or those dropped off in the evening, we typically have them ready within 48 hours.
